Workday Financials Consultant (German Speaking)

Overview

In this role you will lead Workday Financials implementations for a global client base, guiding solution design and configuration within your chosen Workday specialist capability. You’ll manage customer relationships, align deliveries with business needs, and mentor teammates to raise specialist expertise. You’ll deliver high-quality consultancy, run workshops, and help shape offerings that differentiate Kainos in the Workday ecosystem. The position combines technical leadership with a strong focus on client value and commercial viability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Financials/Payroll implementations and configurations for global customers
• Manage customer relationships and set expectations, including escalations
• Deliver expert guidance and thought leadership within your capability
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering specialist knowledge
• Plan and run large workshops with stakeholders and executives

Key requirements

• Fluent in German
• Deep understanding of Workday products (Financials/Payroll) and your specialist capability
• Excellent customer focus and relationship-building
• Strong consulting skills and stakeholder facilitation
