Overview

In this Client Partner role, you drive growth in the UK&I Banking sector by leading senior client relationships and originating new opportunities. You’ll align banking transformations with client strategy, leveraging data, AI, cloud and digital capabilities to deliver measurable value. You will sit at the heart of Slalom’s ambitious Financial Services practice, shaping revenue and market presence while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a business and technology leadership role with a strong focus on impact, partnerships, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow senior executive relationships within Banking clients
  • Drive new logo origination and growth in existing accounts
  • Shape and close opportunities aligned to client strategy and transformation agendas
  • Advise on risk, regulatory and control environments in Financial Services
  • Articulate the role of technology in banking transformation (data, AI, cloud, digital, automation)
  • Engage with alliance partner technology and services vendors to create client value
  • Lead and scale the Financial Services practice within Slalom

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in retail/commercial banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management
  • Strong track record in sales, origination, and account growth
  • Knowledge of banking products, operating models, and risk environments
  • Understanding of technology-led transformation including hyperscaler platforms
  • Established network across the UK and Europe (preferred)
  • Combination of in-house industry experience and consulting
  • Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with executive presence
  • Experience in client portfolio and account management, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery
