Quant Trader Dubai

Overview

As a Quant Trader you will design and deploy automated trading strategies for futures, blending quantitative analysis with practical implementation. You’ll work closely with a small, high-caliber team split between Dubai and London, reporting to the Dubai CEO. Expect to continuously refine models in response to changing markets and to develop products that improve profitability and manage risk. This role offers high exposure to pricing, risk, and external derivatives, with day-one trading responsibilities in a major fund.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, optimize, and deploy automated futures trading strategies
• Conduct statistical analysis of market data and trends
• Identify and develop trading signals from market data
• Recalibrate models to reflect evolving market behavior
• Analyze trading data to boost profitability and reduce risk
• Propose solutions to trading environment challenges
• Interact with counterparties and monitor markets/positions
• Produce research material

Key requirements

• +2 years experience in quant research & model development
• Ability to multi-task between research/trading/development
• Proficient at researching data
• Master in Math/Statistics and/or Computer Science
• Knowledge of Matlab, C++, and/or Python
• Innovative thinking with strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter capable of working independently and highly motivated
