Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)

In this role, you support delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK, collaborating with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams. You work across wind, solar and BESS, guiding projects from feasibility through construction. You develop technical design and project coordination, contributing practical, robust solutions. Responsibilities

• Support delivery of wind, solar PV and BESS projects across the project lifecycle
• Assist electrical engineering design, technical assessments and coordination
• Contribute to feasibility, planning, detailed design and construction phases
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Support project management activities including programme coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Help develop practical, technically robust and commercially minded engineering solutions

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or related discipline
• Several years’ post-graduate experience in renewable energy, electrical engineering or infrastructure (preferred)
• Experience delivering or supporting wind, solar or BESS projects (advantageous)
• Experience in consultancy or contractor environments also encouraged
• Strong interest in renewable energy and energy transition
