Overview

In this hybrid role, you will support Account Directors to drive sales and operations for eDiscovery products across Europe. You’ll build and manage a growing sales pipeline, nurture relationships with law firms and corporate clients, and craft targeted pitches and proposals. You act as a trusted advisor to legal and procurement teams and coordinate cross-functional efforts to maximize opportunities. The role combines business development with strategic account work and events to expand market share.

Responsibilities

  • Track relationships and synthesize opportunities to support BD.
  • Build out Account Mapping using Sales Tech toolkit; multi-thread relationships via LinkedIn Navigator and Apollo.
  • Track KPIs: calls, meetings, and campaign activities.
  • Engage with Opportunity Insight platforms (Solomonic).
  • Support sales and marketing: lead generation, new business prospecting, account management, networking.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and coordinate with relationship partners across Europe.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to target potential clients and coordinate outreach.
  • Prepare thoughtful pitches and proposals tailored to matters/practice areas.
  • Conduct research and produce narratives with findings and stats for pitches.
  • Partner with EMEA Sales to produce thought leadership and client training materials.
  • Coordinate high-quality in-person and virtual events, speaker prep, and post-event follow-up with ROI tracking.
  • Generate and develop pipeline via established and bespoke lead generation methods.
  • Handle customer contact professionally to maintain high activity and education/consultancy.
  • Liaise with internal departments to maximize opportunities with customers and prospects.
  • Facilitate on-site seminars and presentations; attend industry events.
  • Enter and maintain Salesforce account information and event marketing lists.
  • Manage workload to meet individual and company goals; willing to travel

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proven UK sales/business development track record; ability to create opportunities via phone and meetings
  • Experience in eDiscovery or Legal Tech is advantageous
  • Contacts within Corporate General Counsel and Law Firms at partner level highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, confident and professional; strong hunting mindset and relationship-building ability
  • Strong listening skills to understand client needs and propose credible value
  • Strong CRM skills and software knowledge
  • Excellent written reports and business correspondence
  • Attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Self-starter with teamwork mindset
