Overview

In this FP&A Accountant role, you will strengthen the global broking finance team by professionalising reporting, forecasting, and commercial insight. You’ll shape the forecasting framework and drive data-enabled performance analysis across divisions. The role blends hands-on reporting with strategic business partnering to support growth and resilience. You’ll work closely with the CFO and key stakeholders to deliver timely insights and improved financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Build and automate reporting using ERP data (Workday) and billing systems to generate commercial insights
  • Enhance monthly reporting with Power BI dashboards, moving away from Excel-based outputs
  • Partner with divisional heads to analyse drivers, trends and performance
  • Design and implement a forecasting framework across broking divisions
  • Support budgeting, reforecasting, and scenario analysis incorporating market trends and broker activity
  • Act as a financial advisor to the business, challenging assumptions and supporting commercial initiatives
  • Collaborate with market analysts to combine internal and external intelligence
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Workday and other tools for data extraction and analysis
  • Support finance transformation and data governance initiatives
  • Contribute to M&A activity or new business initiatives and regional growth projects

Key requirements

  • Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple source systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with non-financial stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Workday is highly preferred
  • Experience integrating financial and operational data for insights
  • Experience setting up forecasting framework from scratch
