In this Site Manager role, you will lead on a major upgrade at Affinity Water’s Water Treatment Works, coordinating a rapid gravity plant project and enhancements to the existing site. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety, quality, and programme delivery while liaising with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Ensure safe working environment and compliance with H&S, CDM, and quality standards
- Manage day-to-day site operations; supervise teams and supply chain
- Plan, monitor, and report progress, costs, and programme changes
- Coordinate multiple work packages and drive value engineering
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and commercial teams
- Conduct site audits, manage RAMS, permits, and safety briefings
- Resolve technical issues and maintain quality control
- Lead and develop the team, including PDRs and capability reviews
Key requirements
- Experience managing multiple or large work packages
- Skilled at reading and interpreting data, drawings, and specifications
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritise competing workloads
- Confident liaising with site teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and NEC contracts
- Commercially astute and detail oriented
- Proven leadership and delegation skills
- Advanced problem-solving ability
- Experience of M&E works and the Water Industry
- Proficient in Office 365 and CAD
