Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer in Stantec’s Cardiff MEP team, you will drive electrical design delivery for multi-disciplinary building projects. You will develop high-quality design deliverables and collaborate closely with architects and engineers to meet sustainability goals. You will mentor graduates and apprentices, shaping their careers within a supportive, growth-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design on multi-disciplinary projects
• Produce high-quality design deliverables (specifications, drawings, schedules)
• Mentor junior team members including graduates and apprentices
• Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions

Key requirements

• Proven Electrical Engineer experience in the UK
• Experience delivering electrical and MEP solutions across varied building sectors (preferred)
• Familiarity with BIM processes and tools: Revit, Dialux, Elec OM / Amtech
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with architects and multidisciplinary teams
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or building services (HNC/HND/Bachelors/Masters); working towards chartership
