Head of Quality & Compliance

Overview

In this role you will lead quality and compliance across the Morris & Spottiswood Group, shaping strategy and governance for a diverse portfolio. You will own the Integrated Management System and drive continual improvement, audits and regulatory adherence across multiple business units. You will influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain high standards and regulatory excellence. This is a strategic, impact-driven position that supports scalable quality governance across UK operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s Quality and Compliance strategy and provide advisory support across the business
• Own and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Lead internal and external audits, certification activities and ensure effective close-out of non-conformances
• Monitor regulatory and legislative requirements to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards

Key requirements

• Significant senior experience in Quality and Compliance within an HSQE environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems; ISO 9001 essential; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 desirable
• Proven experience leading audits, certification and compliance activities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive continual improvement
