Senior Landscape Architect

Overview

As a Senior Landscape Architect at AECOM you will lead the design and delivery of landscape projects across urban regeneration, residential, and environmental schemes. You will work within a renowned UK&I Landscape Architecture team to deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions and mentors to a growing team. The role focuses on blending landscape planning with multidisciplinary collaboration to support net-zero progress. Responsibilities

• Develop the design and delivery of landscape projects
• Contribute to meetings and workshops, presenting design concepts and upholding AECOM’s design vision
• Assist leads with project management including financial and programme responsibilities
• Share knowledge and support a culture of continuous growth and development; mentor junior staff
• Develop strong client relationships and facilitate proactive engagement and business development
• Prepare and develop designs from feasibility through to construction information
• Support contract administration to ensure high-quality delivery
• Produce reports, drawings and technical documentation with appropriate level of detail
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions

Key requirements

• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
• Experience in designing public realm schemes and complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Knowledge of the UK planning system
• Knowledge of project management including financial control, reporting and programme management

• Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
