Director (Cost Management) – Health, Science & Education

Overview

As Director in the London Health, Science and Education Cost Management Team, you will lead commercial delivery on healthcare projects across public and private sectors. You’ll work within a respected team that handles a wide range of projects from refurbishments to major hospital developments. You’ll partner with clients and contractors to drive cost control, forecasting and value engineering, while mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of projects
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Manage project contract costs in line with objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
• Monitor cost variance and cash flow; ensure timely applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables and KPIs
• Manage contract changes within governance and best practices
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy
• Provide commercial knowledge and stakeholder support
• Negotiate final accounts
• Manage, support, and mentor junior staff
