General Manager – Retail & Destination Asset Management – Dubai

Overview

In this role you lead the strategy and execution of the financial, operational, and commercial performance of a flagship retail and lifestyle asset portfolio. You drive revenue, profitability, and long‑term value while coordinating with leasing, marketing, and operations teams. You influence asset optimization, tenant mix, and capital projects to deliver standout customer experiences. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role at a premier real estate platform.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and drive performance for a portfolio of retail and lifestyle assets
• Manage asset-level P&L including budgeting, forecasting, Capex planning, and Opex optimization
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize revenue and value
• Monitor tenant trading performance and collaborate with leasing to optimize tenant mix
• Coordinate with retailers and marketing to boost footfall, engagement, and sales
• Oversee facilities, security, cleaning, waste, and health & safety operations
• Produce regular asset management reports on financials, operations, and strategy
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and retail trade analysis for growth opportunities
• Partner with development and project management on asset enhancements and capital projects
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and best-in-class experiences

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Real Estate (or related discipline)
• 15+ years in retail asset management, mall/destination management, or commercial real estate
• Proven experience managing large-scale retail or mixed-use assets
• Strong P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting experience
• Strong stakeholder management with retailers, operators, vendors, and senior leadership
