Director, Fund Finance Advisory

Overview

In this role you will lead Interpath’s newly formed fund finance advisory practice, guiding complex capital advisory and financing solutions. You will drive high-impact fund finance engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and nurture key client relationships to expand advisory services. You will analyze market trends to inform strategies and craft compelling materials to win new business. You will mentor junior colleagues and shape the growth of the fund finance platform within our Debt Advisory group.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund finance advisory engagements from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in fund finance
• Create and present pitch materials, investment memorandums, and financial models
• Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in fund finance markets

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in fund finance markets with origination and transaction execution focus
• Proven track record in executing fund finance transactions and managing client relationships
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills to interpret data and derive insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to present complex information clearly
• Proficiency with technology platforms and tools for market analysis and financial modelling
• Collaborative leadership and team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated, results-driven, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Well-established network within the fund finance sector
• In-depth understanding of market trends, investment strategies, and regulatory environments affecting fund finance
