Overview

Lead the feasibility study for new FX and MMT product functionality, partnering with Front Office and IT to validate requirements, map pricing models, and estimate effort and costs. You will anchor business requirements, review as-is and to-be workflows, and coordinate delivery estimates to support project approvals. You drive analysis under pressure and collaborate across stakeholders to shape solution design and trade lifecycle improvements. This is an opportunity to influence product delivery in a high-stakes, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather formal Business Requirements with the business.
  • Review and input on as-is and to-be trade booking and lifecycle workflows.
  • Perform detailed product analysis for FX and MMT products and drive solution design.
  • Map products into templates and analyze pricing models.
  • Provide Front Office delivery estimates for project approvals.
  • Handle trade booking queries and respond to related issues.
  • Prepare project/work-stream status reports.
  • Offer ad-hoc support for new requirements or issues.
  • Act as Front Office primary contact for tasks and issues.

Key requirements

  • Business Analyst experience in FX and MMT asset classes for Investment Bank
  • Experience working for a top tier bank
  • Excellent product knowledge across FX and MMT asset classes
  • Ability to map a product from term sheet data
  • Ability to work under pressure, autonomously and in a team
  • Liaise with business and IT stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the Murex platform
  • Good knowledge of Bloomberg
  • Excellent understanding of PL, Risk and Market Data
  • Excellent understanding of trade booking and lifecycle
  • Understanding of curve construction, simulation, trade pricing
  • Strong delivery track record and ownership of feasibility studies
  • Understanding of RET interfaces
  • Work experience in the Securities Industry in a similar role
  • Proactive and self-starting with high ownership
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Flexibility to handle urgent tasks and longer-term solutions
