Overview

As Senior Manager you will lead tax advisory and compliance for the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) sector, including private equity, hedge funds, credit funds and real estate funds. You will manage end-to-end corporation and partnership tax processes and coach the tax team, while building long-term client relationships. The role involves coordinating with UK and global colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes and driving business development. This is a client-focused opportunity to shape tax strategy for fast-growing AIF clients within a collaborative, high-performing team. You will work on impactful tax issues at scale, with strong emphasis on leadership and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of tax advisory on UK and international matters for the AIF sector
  • Oversee corporation tax and partnership tax processes end-to-end
  • Manage, coach, and support team members on technical and people matters
  • Independently run client meetings and calls
  • Develop and grow a client portfolio with trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with UK-based and global Alternatives teams
  • Adapt approach to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Initiate and oversee business development initiatives

Key requirements

  • Qualified CA/ACA, Chartered Tax Advisor or solicitor (or international equivalent)
