In this role you lead one of our newly built residential homes for children, ensuring high-quality, therapeutic care. You will work within a well-connected Local Authority network to drive excellent outcomes and maintain safe, nurturing environments. You’ll champion a trauma-informed approach and foster a reflective, learning culture across homes. This is a chance to shape care practices at scale and support staff in delivering outstanding standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a children’s home, ensuring high standards of care
- Embed therapeutic and trauma-informed practice across the home
- Safeguard children and ensure safeguarding compliance
- Promote outcomes-focused care and continuous service improvement
- Collaborate with senior leadership and external practitioners within the Local Authority network
- Support induction, development and retention of staff; maintain stable staffing
- Champion reflective practice and a learning culture across all homes
- Represent the service in internal and external partnerships
Key requirements
- Previous experience in a residential children’s setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete within first 2 years)
- Enhanced DBS Check
