Overview

In this role you will advise high and ultra high net worth clients on complex lifetime planning within a market-leading Private Capital team at a top-tier national firm. You will collaborate with senior partners to deliver sophisticated estate planning and tax advice, while developing long-term client relationships. The role blends independent work with high-quality mentorship and opportunities to raise your profile through events and thought leadership. You will shape strategies for wills, trusts, and cross-border planning in a supportive, prestigious environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advising on estate planning and drafting wills and trust documents for HNW and international clients
  • Providing inheritance tax and capital gains tax advice
  • Supporting business owners with pre exit planning strategies
  • Advising on the creation, management and winding up of trusts (with administrative support from a dedicated Trust Management team)
  • Liaising with financial planners and discussing a broad range of financial products
  • Advising on deeds of variation, discretionary trusts and loan arrangements
  • Attending networking events, webinars and speaking opportunities to raise your profile
  • Delivering exceptional client service and building long term trusted relationships

Key requirements

  • At least 4 years’ PQE in private client work
  • Strong experience in wills and lifetime planning
  • Genuine enthusiasm for private wealth and diverse client base
  • Excellent attention to detail and practical, solutions-driven advice
  • Confidence handling complex matters and knowing when to seek guidance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships
  • Comfort with networking and business development
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
