Overview

In this role you support Mastercard’s core consumer products across ANZ and the Pacific Islands, helping to drive adoption and optimization. You’ll work with Digital Product Managers and cross-functional teams to inform sales strategies and market delivery. You’ll become a product SME, translating capabilities into compelling client value and shaping market discussions. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with real impact on solutioning and regional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and execution of core consumer products or solutions in ANZ & Pacific Islands
  • Provide product and platform knowledge to support sales, CSC, and client engagements
  • Assist in executing product sales strategies and supporting sales pipeline activities
  • Support the development of client-specific solutions, presentations, and demonstrations
  • Act as a product subject matter expert for assigned core consumer products
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address routine product issues
  • Assist in analysing market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity in the region
  • Contribute to competitive analysis, pricing inputs, and solution positioning
  • Support identification of new business opportunities and product enhancement ideas
  • Share best practices and knowledge with internal teams to improve solutioning

Key requirements

  • 1-3 years related work experience, preferably in Financial Service
  • Strong interest in payments, card issuing, banking, financial services, and e-commerce
  • Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Foundational understanding of payments and financial services landscape
  • Understanding of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging payment technologies
  • Awareness of Australian payments regulatory environment and its relevance to Mastercard
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for product development
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into customer-focused value propositions
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling
  • Strong collaboration skills across sales, product, and technology teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing, economics or engineering or equivalent work experience
