Overview
As Senior/Principal Project Manager, you lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver water sector projects from feasibility through design, construction support and commissioning. You’ll work on Scotland‑based programs such as the SR27 Enterprise and other water frameworks to shape sustainable, resilient water systems. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive project performance and business development, within a global firm delivering high-impact infrastructure. This role combines leadership, technical oversight and stakeholder engagement to deliver transformational outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Define project scope, schedule, resources and risks
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Foster strong client, stakeholder and internal team relationships
- Mentor and develop project managers and team members
- Manage project financial performance including forecasting and cash flow
- Oversee contract administration and ensure quality delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers as needed
- Contribute to business development and future opportunities
- Champion health, safety and wellbeing culture
Key requirements
- Extensive experience managing projects in consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environments
- Experience leading bids, proposals or business development
- In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly PSC
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and multi‑organisation teams
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and collaborate effectively
- Proficient in project management and digital collaboration tools
- Water sector experience desirable
