Overview

In this role you will lead European revenue generation for PMC, with the UK as a priority, by sourcing and negotiating strategic partnerships and licensing deals. You will collaborate with global and brand stakeholders to move opportunities from conception to executed agreements, driving multi-year revenue programs. The role emphasizes cross-functional alignment, deal-making across industries, and expanding PMC’s IP and events in Europe. Your work will shape growth across brands, events, and licensing, with a strong emphasis on speed, performance, and strategic impact.

Responsibilities

  • Generate European revenue with a UK priority across strategic partnerships, IP/brand extension, branded hospitality, content & product licensing, and sponsorships
  • Source, negotiate, and execute new partnerships and business ventures, including redlining contracts with Legal and senior partnership management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Executive Management, Sales, Marketing, Editorial) to build support for new initiatives and licensing opportunities
  • Support and structure sponsorships and partnerships for the SXSW London event
  • Facilitate expansion of PMC brands’ IP and events into the UK and broader Europe
  • Stay informed on industry trends to identify growth opportunities and attend events to prospect new partnerships
  • Focus on developing large, multi-year revenue programs rather than one-off deals
  • Renegotiate and extend existing content licensing deals and other Biz Dev partnerships as needed

Key requirements

  • 10+ years of business development experience with 5+ years in licensing at a Media/Entertainment company
  • Strong understanding of industry revenue models (e.g., revenue guarantees, royalties, rights & permissions)
  • Proven track record negotiating complex deals quickly while managing priorities
  • Extensive European network of contacts for prospecting
  • Experience building and executing non-advertising partner programs that drive recurring revenue
  • Strong contract acumen and ability to work with Legal to close deals
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication with proactive, extroverted demeanor and a sense of urgency
  • Experience managing and optimizing partnerships through deal execution and beyond
