Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead Digital Delivery, Information Management and BIM Governance on Mace’s Canary Wharf HQ project for a leading financial institution. You will drive BIM adoption, governance and digital twin readiness from inception through handover, working closely with client and supply-chain stakeholders to ensure structured, compliant information delivery. This high-profile role offers the chance to shape BIM strategy and establish a benchmark for BIM-enabled delivery. You will enable seamless integration with Autodesk Tandem and future digital twin environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM and Information Management processes per ISO 19650
• Act as primary BIM and Digital Delivery lead for the project
• Establish BIM governance, assurance and reporting
• Monitor EIR, AIR, BEP, MIDP, and TIDP compliance
• Provide strategic BIM guidance to designers and contractors
• Conduct formal BIM compliance reviews at milestones
• Monitor model quality, metadata, naming, and information standards
• Review federated models for coordination and constructability
• Produce BIM dashboards and risk/exec reporting
• Coordinate BIM workshops and design reviews
• Oversee clash detection and issue management workflows
• Ensure timely model delivery across construction
• Drive supply-chain accountability for BIM deliverables
• Define asset information requirements and data governance
• Review COBie deliverables and asset metadata quality
• Prepare information for handover into Autodesk Tandem
• Support handover to digital twin environments
• Serve as primary BIM contact for stakeholders
• Build relationships with client designers, contractors and consultants
• Present BIM performance and risks to senior stakeholders
• Support procurement by evaluating BIM capabilities and tender responses

Key requirements

• Significant experience in BIM, Digital Engineering or Information Management
• Proven leadership of BIM delivery on major commercial or large-scale developments
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of BIM governance and information management workflows
• Experience developing and reviewing BEP, MIDP and AIR/IR requirements
• Experience leading project-wide BIM coordination and assurance programs
• Proficiency with ISO 19650
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or Forma, Revit, Navisworks Manage, Solibri
• Knowledge of COBie, IFC workflows, and CDE administration
• Experience delivering BIM on projects >€100m construction value
• Client-side or consultancy advisory experience
• Experience supporting digital twins and operational information management
• Familiarity with Autodesk Tandem
• Experience in regulated corporate real estate environments
