Principal Data Scientist – AI

Overview

As Principal Data Scientist at Anaplan, you will architect and deploy AI solutions across the full stack of Anaplan AI applications, from model integration to intuitive user interfaces. You will lead advanced modeling and GenAI initiatives to enable intelligent, automated planning for global customers. You bridge traditional predictive methods with generative systems, delivering scalable production solutions. You’ll mentor cross-functional teams and champion technical excellence within a culture focused on customer success and innovation. Responsibilities

• Lead研究 and implementation of advanced ML, DL, and timeseries forecasting models for enterprise planning challenges
• Architect GenAI solutions with fine-tuned LLMs (transformers) for enterprise data tasks
• Design and integrate Conversational AI and autonomous AI workflows for planning tasks
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to move models from prototype to production
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and foster rigorous testing and continuous learning

Key requirements

• Extensive professional engineering experience in AI/ML or related domains
• Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs (LoRA, QLoRA, RLHF) for domain-specific apps
• Experience taking models to production with strong MLOps/LLMOps practices
• High proficiency in Python and modern software dev practices (testing, reviews, CI/CD)
• Hands-on experience with traditional ML/DL, including Timeseries Forecasting
