Overview
In this Enterprise Sales role, you will drive growth by expanding enterprise adoption of open source software across infrastructure solutions. You will own a defined territory, build a robust pipeline, and exceed bookings targets. You will engage with executives and technical buyers to articulate value across Kubernetes, OpenStack, data analytics, security and support capabilities. This is a high-energy, cross-functional role at a fast-growing software company with a strong open-source focus.

Responsibilities
- Exceed annual and quarterly bookings targets (target: $1.5M+ yearly)
- Represent the company and its solutions to designated verticals or territories
- Develop and execute a territory plan aligning financial and strategic goals
- Conduct business development to build regional pipeline
- Manage client interactions through all sales stages
- Maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce for the territory
- Coordinate engagements across services, management and support with the client
Key requirements
- Experience in software or technology sales
- Bachelor level degree (technology field preferred)
- Understanding of the company’s product, Open Source and Linux technologies
- Strong follow-up, detail orientation, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to close sales and achieve targets
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Self-starter with high energy and passion; able to work in a globally distributed team
- Ability to represent the company at external events
- Mature relationship development with clients; startup experience is advantageous
