Overview
In this role you will lead integration and regression testing for a large-scale systems integration programme. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to plan, design, and execute tests across applications, interfaces, and infrastructure, ensuring quality and traceability. You’ll collaborate with technical experts, suppliers and stakeholders to validate data flows, report findings, and drive root-cause analyses. Responsibilities
- Create and review test plans, cases, and reports
- Design and execute integration and regression tests
- Collaborate with technical experts and stakeholders to ensure coverage
- Record defects, risks, and test results; support resolution
- Investigate issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Analyze test evidence and large datasets to verify requirements
- Validate data flows between systems
- Identify improvements to testing processes and ways of working
- Support development and maintenance of automated regression test packs
Key requirements
- Experience in software, systems, integration, or test engineering
- Proficiency in functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing
- Ability to create and execute tests from requirements or design docs
- Experience with multi-system projects and third-party integrations
- Issue investigation and defect resolution support
- Data analysis and interpretation of test results
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Independent and team-oriented work approach
- Proactive, willing to learn new technologies and tools
- Ability to attend Whiteley office as required
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate (beneficial but not essential)
