Inventory Controller

Overview

In this role you will support inventory control, production planning, and data integrity in the legacy ERP system to ensure accurate stock records and timely production execution. You will work closely with Planning and Production to maintain organized workflows and uphold safety and quality standards. You drive efficiency by managing inventory movements, Kanban replenishment, and documentation, while resolving discrepancies and aligning with finance. This position offers the chance to impact production scheduling and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and support site safety objectives
• Maintain accurate records and system logs; manage perpetual inventory
• Support production schedules and Kanban replenishment
• Adjust production orders and store configurations; create/delete dynamic storage bins
• Print/manage shop floor orders, labels, and pallets; prioritize daily plans
• Coordinate with Planning and Production; review schedule adherence and late/early orders
• Support root cause analysis for routings tasks and inventory discrepancies
• Liaise with Finance to resolve inventory issues as per policy

Key requirements

• Experience with ERP systems
• Understanding of production planning and inventory control principles
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S+1
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain is a plus
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
