Senior Project Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the design and delivery of mission-critical digital platforms for global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. You will guide architecture, full-stack development, and cloud deployment to ensure scalable, high-availability solutions. You work closely with product leaders and enterprise stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical deliverables. Your work enables modernization of legacy systems and integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities, delivering concrete impact for top-tier brands. This is a high-visibility, cross-region opportunity to shape platform architecture and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Pharma & Enterprise Delivery: act as primary technical architect for global accounts across EMEA/APAC for top pharmaceutical brands
• System Architecture & Design: produce HLD/LLD documentation and define API contracts for complex platforms
• Full-Stack Software Engineering: build/maintain scalable web apps using PHP (Laravel, Drupal, WordPress), JS frameworks (React, Vue.js, Next.js), and Python
• Modernization & Migrations: lead transformation of legacy monoliths (.NET) to headless architectures and perform cloud migrations (Azure)
• AI & RAG Integration: prototype intelligent features using generative AI models via agentic frameworks and vector retrieval
• Performance & SLA Optimization: troubleshoot production issues quickly and maintain 99% uptime while optimizing costs
• DevOps & CI/CD: establish automated pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and cloud infra (AWS, Azure, Vercel)
• Stakeholder Management: collaborate with product managers and senior leadership to translate requirements into technical deliverables

Key requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in engineering or senior leadership roles
• Proven track record delivering digital platforms for global Tier-1 enterprises in pharma/life sciences
• Hands-on experience with full-stack development across PHP (Laravel/Drupal/WordPress), JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Vue.js, Next.js), and Python
• Experience modernizing legacy systems to headless architectures and performing cloud migrations (Azure)
• Experience with AI/RAG features and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and vector databases (PostGIS, ChromaDB)
• Strong understanding of API design and system architecture (HLD/LLD)
• Proficiency with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker)
