Overview

In this role you will join a renowned Trusts & Estates Disputes team to handle high-value, cross-border matters for a distinguished client base. You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners, developing client relationships and contributing to a boutique-like culture with the resources of a larger firm. Expect exposure to domestic and international disputes, mediation support, and strategies that balance litigation with preventative risk management. You will help shape outcomes for HNW/UHNW clients while advancing your expertise in a fast-paced, high-profile practice

Responsibilities

  • Litigate complex Trusts & Estates disputes, including cross-border matters
  • Advise on international and domestic wealth structures and offshore trusts
  • Assist in mediations and cross-border negotiations to achieve constructive outcomes
  • Identify risks and defuse conflicts to prevent disputes escalating
  • Manage client relationships and support business development within Trusts & Estates
  • Mentor and support junior solicitors and collaborate with senior colleagues
  • Contribute to the team’s growth and maintain high standards of client service

Key requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 4–8 years’ PQE (England & Wales) in Trusts and Estates Disputes
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, delegate effectively and stay resilient under pressure
  • Positive, pragmatic approach with sound judgment and decisive decision-making
