Principal Civil Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of high-profile civil infrastructure projects from a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy. You will head a team of engineers and technicians, coordinate with other disciplines, and nurture client relationships on UK and international projects. You will mentor junior engineers and share expertise to accelerate their development. The opportunity combines technical leadership with a chance to shape sustainable, iconic infrastructure while progressing within a global practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Develop and maintain client relationships across projects
• Mentor and develop junior staff
• Drive design and delivery of civil infrastructure on major projects

Key requirements

• Chartered engineer with ICE or IStructE
• MEng degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 6+ years in a consultancy on buildings-related projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS and Civil CAD3D is beneficial
