Overview
In this role you will deliver high-value dispute advice on complex planning disputes and EOT matters for contractors, law firms, and employers. You will support expert witnesses and collaborate across a delay-focused team to develop claims strategies and defence approaches. You will assess client problems on site, provide contract and time-related guidance, and support litigation and arbitration. You join a specialist practice focused on delay and disruption in construction projects, with opportunities to shape dispute resolution outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality dispute support on large projects for contractors, law firms and employers
- Assist expert witnesses and collaborate on project/dispute-related EOT/planning work
- Visit clients to assess issues and develop claims strategies and defences
- Provide contract advice on planning/time and perform due diligence of programmes
- Support litigation and arbitration efforts
- Contribute to business development initiatives
Key requirements
- Experience in delay analysis, dispute resolution/avoidance, claims management, or expert witness work
- Projects on value of £10m or more (desirable)
- Engineering, construction management background with legal qualification or willingness to pursue
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Team player with attention to detail
- Knowledge of planning software (ideally Primavera, ASTA, MS Project)
