Technical Account Manager – Vice President

Overview

In this role you serve as the main point of contact for Instinet Newport clients, guiding deployments and delivering high-level real-time support. You build trusted relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery across the ITS EMEA region and with global teams. You interpret product changes, train users, and relay client needs to the product group, influencing ongoing improvements. You operate in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where accuracy and timely communication impact trading workflows and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Act as dedicated relationship manager for assigned client accounts and ensure exceptional service delivery
• Facilitate Newport deployments for new clients and provide ongoing real-time support
• Provide backup coverage for ITS EMEA to maintain continuity during team absences
• Coordinate with ITS across regions to ensure seamless global support
• Respond quickly to client communications and manage sensitive issues within SLAs
• Maintain deep knowledge of Newport and its supporting infra as the product evolves
• Provide guidance and training to new users on configuration and usage
• Interpret effects of releases, communicate updates, and relay feature requests to the global product team
• Understand client workflows to ensure consistent service when you’re unavailable
• Disseminate outage information, provide status updates, and advise on actions for clients

Key requirements

• Experience in managing and building client relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and convey time-sensitive information clearly
• Proven track record of independent, high-quality results with demanding stakeholders
• Strong numeric skills and proficiency with Excel; Word and PowerPoint familiarity
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Salesforce, Confluence, and Jira is useful
• Understanding of markets and trading processes; background in desktop UI software or FIX protocol is beneficial
