Overview

As a Pharmacy Practice Manager in our Lowestoft store, you lead the pharmacy team to deliver patient-centric care while driving a profitable business. You balance roles as line manager and clinician, ensuring safe, compliant, NHS and private healthcare service delivery. You’ll coach colleagues, manage pharmacists and locums, and align with GPhC standards to maintain high professional and customer service levels. You’ll work with in-store and regional teams to support clinical governance and exceptional patient experience, shaping best-in-class pharmacy service. This role offers impact through leadership, compliance, and patient outcomes within a dynamic retail setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience
  • Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, including locums
  • Achieve pharmacy targets and deadlines and drive profitability
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance
  • Provide coaching and support across clinical and service queries with regional and home office teams
  • Balance line management with pharmacist duties to maintain safe working practices
  • Handle difficult situations while maintaining strong store and field connections

Key requirements

  • GPhC-registered, fully qualified pharmacist
  • Accredited to deliver NHS and private healthcare services
  • Ability to balance line management and pharmacist responsibilities
  • Proven ability to inspire teams and deliver results within KRAs
  • Experience navigating challenging situations and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • DBS check and live update service; right to work in the UK; safeguarding qualifications
