Branch Operations Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive branch performance by fostering a high-energy, high‑performance culture and by sharing best practices. You will lead a small team and influence a larger group to meet operational targets, focusing on safety, efficiency, and customer service. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager and Sales to ensure superb customer experiences and smooth operations across the network. Responsibilities

• Champion best practices, drive change, and maintain a high-performance branch culture
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and Sales to deliver top-tier customer service
• Achieve financial and operational targets through process improvements and capability building
• Support safety meetings, reinforce safety communications, and coach colleagues on procedures
• Oversee fleet and MHE compliance and ensure accurate pre-departure checks and up-to-date paperwork
• Monitor and improve fleet KPIs, maximise efficiency, and share best practices
• Partner with Branch Manager, Sales, and Warehouse on stock control, audits, and process improvements
• Manage stock ordering, optimise levels, reduce dead stock, and oversee new range rollouts
• Support transitions to new safety principles and cover for Transport Managers during absences
