Overview

In this role you will lead the development of health economic models in R and support evidence synthesis and decision modelling for pharma and biotech clients. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team of health economists, statisticians, and researchers to deliver client-ready cost-effectiveness analyses and reporting. You will shape modelling approaches, interpret results, and contribute to study deliverables from concept to sensitivity analyses. This position offers exposure to innovative methods and impact across healthcare decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, program and report R-based cost-effectiveness simulation models and Excel/VBA models
  • Lead development of client-ready study deliverables including model conceptualization, analysis plans and interpretations of results
  • Collaborate with health economists, statisticians and researchers on methodologically innovative projects
  • Present progress and results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure timely delivery of project components and manage tasks independently and in a team setting
  • Interpret results from clinical and economic studies and identify drivers and knowledge gaps

Key requirements

  • Master’s degree in health economics or statistics, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a consulting environment serving biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare clients
  • Proven R programming skills and experience with cost-effectiveness simulation models in R
  • Understanding of statistical methods in health economics (e.g., parametric survival, network meta-analyses, probabilistic sensitivity analyses)
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge
