Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

In this role you will lead civil engineering design delivery for infrastructure projects with a focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage. You’ll work within a dynamic team in Bristol, reporting to an Associate Director, and help drive solutions that align with our NetZero by 2040 commitment. You’ll tackle engineering challenges across water design, modelling, and approvals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design delivery for infrastructure projects, focusing on SUDS and surface water drainage
• Assist in guiding a design team under the supervision of an Associate Director
• Provide technical support and resource planning to deliver projects within the Integrated Management Systems
• Develop 3D designs and models using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Autodesk ICM
• Navigate Water Authority approval processes (S104, S106) and SuDS approvals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address flood risk management and design requirements

Key requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in surface and foul water design or construction
• Civil Engineering degree (Master preferred)
• Near-completion or attainment of a professional qualification with ICE or CIWEM
• Awareness of National Planning Policy and infrastructure design requirements for flood risk management
• Ability to manage a team and provide technical support and resource planning
• Experience in 3D design and modelling with listed software
• Knowledge of water authority approval processes (S104, S106) and SuDS approvals
