Junior Quant Application Support Engineer Fintech SQL

Overview

In this role you will provide technical support for implementations across the fund market and grow into a Quant position within a year. You’ll build domain knowledge of wealth management and the company’s solution while maintaining high-quality client service. You will collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver timely incident resolution and service improvements. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a clear path to more senior responsibilities and exposure to IP-sensitive funds.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents, requests, and problems and ensure timely client contact
• Record detailed progress updates against each service request
• Investigate issues and document findings
• Analyze existing product functionalities and translate technical issues into clear terms
• Escalate to senior client services or development teams as needed
• Proactively suggest improvements to client service processes
• Understand industry segments and client business processes related to product use
• Maintain regular communication with management

Key requirements

• 2:1 Degree in Comp Sci, IT or Maths
• Maths A Level
• 3rd Line App Support Experience
