Overview

As an Industry Principal Director, you will lead large-scale transformation engagements for Life Office, Life Insurance, Pensions and Retirement clients, shaping strategy through delivery and executive sponsorship. You will grow trusted client relationships, mentor teams, and drive innovative solutions across strategy, technology, and operations. You’ll steer multi-disciplinary programs, including platform transformations and digital journeys, while contributing to thought leadership and practice growth. This is a high-impact role in a global consulting leader focused on meaningful client outcomes and market leadership.

Responsibilities

• Sponsoring and shaping complex business and technology transformation programs from strategy to delivery
• Maintaining senior client relationships, including C-suite engagement, to drive value and satisfaction
• Leading engagements with accountability for delivery quality, commercial performance, and outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand value across strategic accounts
• Defining and developing industry propositions, assets, and offerings
• Bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver differentiated outcomes
• Shaping the strategic direction and growth of the Insurance Strategy & Consulting practice
• Mentoring and sponsoring consulting talent and building a high-performing team
• Representing Accenture externally through events, thought leadership, and publications

Key requirements

• Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programs (business, operating model, customer, proposition, or technology)
• Significant experience in Life Office, Life Insurance, Pensions, Retirement or Long-Term Savings
• Ability to influence senior executives and establish credibility through expertise and delivery
• Strong strategic problem-solving and practical solution design
• Experience overseeing major engagements with delivery quality, commercial results and client outcomes
• Track record of long-term client relationship development based on trust
• Excellent people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with clear, structured thinking and execution
• Experience building high-performing teams and strong knowledge of technology, digital and AI in financial services
