Project Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you will own the end-to-end delivery of Google Cloud-based and AI solutions for a diverse client portfolio. You’ll lead cross-functional delivery teams and liaise with client and Google stakeholders to ensure clear goals, risk management, and value delivery. Based in London, you will drive project planning, budgets, and continuous improvement while shaping implementation across agile and waterfall projects. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence transformation on cutting-edge cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from engagement to closure
• Build influential relationships with client stakeholders and Google teams; ensure alignment on goals
• Manage budgets with accurate forecasting and cost control
• Identify and manage risks with contingency plans to keep delivery on track
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on risks, issues, and progress
• Mentor team members and foster continuous improvement
• Coordinate collaboration within the team and with external partners
• Oversee post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive improvements

Key requirements

• Five years or more in project delivery or programme management, ideally in consultancy and Google Cloud environments
• Eligible for UK Government SC-level security clearance
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Ability to discuss technical requirements with engineering/product teams without being hands-on
