Overview
You join a leading PBSA developer/investor to grow a large portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation across London and the South. You will source consented and unconsented sites, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive the process from initial assessment to planning consent and deal closure. Responsibilities
- identify and source PBSA land opportunities (consented and unconsented) in target regions
- develop and maintain a network of contacts across stakeholders to gather site details and viability
- lead front-end activities to progress sites through planning, liaising with teams as needed
- bid for opportunities and secure land with planning consent for large developments (over 40m GDV)
- drive deal execution while coordinating with internal analytics, finance, and development teams
- focus on PBSA with potential BtR/Co-living opportunities and support expansion of the portfolio
Key requirements
- PBSA acquisition experience
- existing network of contacts for site opportunities and consent status
- strong understanding of planning processes and consent procurement
- ability to work across London and South/South West England and travel as needed
- pro-active, self-motivated, innovative mindset
- ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and progress sites to detailed planning
