Overview
In this role you will shape and deliver NEC Housing products for the social housing sector, including AI, workflow, case management, and the NEC Engage app. You will work with cross‑functional teams to translate market needs into valuable solutions that meet customer outcomes. You’ll lead market research, define requirements, and guide product roadmaps to drive transformation across housing services. This is a mission‑critical position at a dynamic, customer‑driven company with opportunities for growth within the product team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends affecting housing solutions.
- Become the subject matter expert and guide customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers through workshops and groups to capture insights and shape requirements.
- Define customer business needs to ensure NEC Housing products meet expectations.
- Create requirements, user stories, and wireframes; work with development and QA to deliver impact.
- Partner with Technical Authors to produce product documentation.
- Build business cases including market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Identify third‑party requirements and liaise with suppliers/integrators as needed.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap.
- Support Pre‑Sales and Sales with bids and proposals.
- Deliver presentations and contribute to product launch activities.
Key requirements
- Experience in UK Social Housing, either as a customer or software solution provider.
- Strong knowledge of project life cycle, methodologies, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
- Experience with housing management systems or related software.
- Experience working with Document Management, Case Management and/or Customer Engagement solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Full, valid UK/EC driving licence for travel.
