Overview
As a Life or Pensions Qualified Actuary in the Financial and Actuarial Team, you will apply technical actuarial insights to support senior management decisions. You will work closely with finance, origination, risk and investment units to provide analysis and forecasts that drive solvency monitoring and business planning. The role blends traditional actuarial work with commercial judgment, influencing stakeholders and shaping balance-sheet responses. You will engage in stress testing and ad-hoc queries, offering meaningful impact across the wider business.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with Finance, Origination, Risk and Investment to provide insight and analysis for senior management
- Prepare regular forecasts and business plans to support strategic decisions
- Support solvency monitoring and business plan projections
- Respond to ad-hoc stakeholder queries and provide timely analysis
- Assist with balance-sheet stress and scenario testing
Key requirements
- Life/Pensions Actuary with NNQ (up to 4 years PQE, more welcome)
- Good technical knowledge of financial reporting
- Commercial mindset with ability to influence and build stakeholder relationships
- Prior experience in a similar role is desirable
