Overview
In this hands-on role, you will own the operational engine behind the sportsbook supplier ecosystem, ensuring reliability, responsiveness and scalability as the business grows. You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement governance, performance reviews and incident management, driving data-informed improvements. The position sits at the core of Gibraltar operations, bridging internal teams and external suppliers to optimise pricing, trading and data flows. This is a dynamic, fast-moving environment where you shape governance and operational processes with a hands-on focus and impact.
Responsibilities
- Own relationships with sportsbook suppliers across pricing, trading and data
- Build governance frameworks, QBR cadences, performance reviews and action tracking
- Lead supplier incident management end-to-end, ensuring rapid resolution and recurrence prevention
- Hold third-party suppliers accountable for performance, quality and delivery
- Improve processes behind event booking, supplier selection and day-to-day trading operations
- Use data and reporting to identify supplier trends and opportunities for operational improvement
- Support Gibraltar-based executives as the team grows
- Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on operations, incidents and supplier performance
Key requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in sportsbook operations, trading or sportsbook management
- Strong sportsbook industry knowledge and ecosystem understanding
- Track record managing operational relationships with third-party sportsbook suppliers or partners
- Experience building or improving governance frameworks, QBRs, reporting structures or supplier performance processes
- Strong analytical and process-improvement mindset
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance reporting and efficiency
- People leadership experience is a plus but not essential
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build structure where none exists
