Overview
In this role you will help safeguard and develop LSE’s research environment to support world-leading research and impact. You will collect and analyse evidence for the REF 2029 SPRE statements and assist departments in drafting theirs, aligning with deadlines and regulatory expectations. You will work closely with the Research and Innovation Division to support strategy, resources, and responsible research practice. This position combines research, policy support and cross‑functional collaboration to strengthen LSE’s research ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse evidence of LSE’s research environment to draft the SPRE institutional-level statement for REF 2029
- Support Departments in drafting their SPRE statements
- Monitor and apply knowledge of REF2029 deadlines and processes
- Conduct desk-based research to collect evidence from diverse sources
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support strategy and resource planning related to research environment
Key requirements
