Overview

Join Vodafone Business Group as a Product Economics Manager, shaping growth in revenue and margin across global product portfolios. You will build and maintain cost models, benchmark economics, and surface opportunities to improve commercial performance across markets. You’ll design a scalable toolkit and collaborate with OpCos, product, technology and commercial teams to influence product design and pricing. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to drive standardisation and efficiencies in a complex telecom environment. You will help Vodafone scale products globally while fostering an inclusive, data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain product cost models
  • Identify cost owners and document responsibilities
  • Understand supplier contracts and business rules impacting cost base
  • Visualise cost components and levers affecting cost and price
  • Provide market benchmarking inputs and actionable commercial analysis
  • Conduct cost benchmarking across products and vendors
  • Provide guidance on cost related decisions to stakeholders
  • Develop deep commercial product expertise (suppliers, terms, competitors, trends)
  • Regularly analyse unit and product economics to inform decisions
  • Advise on scaling and sunsetting product economics and identify standardisation opportunities
  • Create and maintain a central toolkit (cost catalogue, unit costs, guardrails) for central and local teams

Key requirements

  • Strong commercial modelling and analysis skills with ability to build business cases and visualise data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management with experience influencing senior leaders
  • Ability to simplify complex information and work in cross-functional, global teams
  • Tenacious self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and new approaches
  • Experience in a Commercial, Pricing or Finance role involving ICT or Telco solutions, ideally B2B
  • Degree-level education in Business Management or a quantitative discipline
  • Outstanding Microsoft Excel skills
