Overview

In this role you will contribute to Ramboll’s Building Services projects in London, delivering robust mechanical design for complex buildings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, mentoring junior engineers and maintaining excellent client service. You’ll lead or co-lead projects, applying detail design and digital/parametric approaches to drive efficient, sustainable outcomes. This opportunity offers exposure to international signature projects and a supportive, development-focused culture. Responsibilities

  • Represent Ramboll on MEP projects, leading your discipline and, for larger projects, supervising engineers from a related discipline
  • Work autonomously on technical aspects of your discipline and apply specialist experience as needed
  • Complete detailed designs and supervise others in delivering design outputs
  • Inspire confidence internally and externally to strengthen client relationships
  • Manage project time and deadlines, allocating resources effectively
  • Coordinate tasks and deadlines as the Ramboll project manager, ensuring on-time delivery

Key requirements

  • Qualified engineer with a proven track record in building services
  • CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue education
  • Towards or achieved IEng or CEng status
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on technical aspects or with relevant specialist experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
