Senior Director – Filtration Operations Device Plants

Overview

In this role you drive the five-device manufacturing sites to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and people excellence. You will align operations with Cytiva’s growth and DBS-driven culture, shaping end-to-end filtration operations and supply chain, while partnering with membrane teams to meet rising demand. You’ll lead a global manufacturing network, instill standardized practices, and develop leaders to sustain a high-performing, inclusive culture. This is a strategic, high-impact role at the heart of Cytiva’s growth in life sciences manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and strategic direction for five device manufacturing sites across multiple regions
• Establish a unified operating model and drive performance discipline; lead monthly/quarterly reviews with plant leaders
• Own SQDIP results across the network and drive improvements using DBS tools
• Coordinate end-to-end filtration operations with upstream/downstream alignment and risk management
• Develop and execute long-range manufacturing strategies including footprint optimization and automation investments
• Lead DBS processes across the network and build DBS capability in site leadership
• Develop and lead a high-performing device leadership team and succession planning to foster an inclusive culture

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, science, or related field
• Long-standing experience leading global, multi-site manufacturing in life sciences/pharma/medical device or regulated industries
• Proven success in lean/DBS, transformation, and performance improvement
• Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and cross-cultural influencing ability
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams across geographies
• Collaborative cross-value-stream mindset with upstream/downstream dependency navigation
• Strong execution discipline for standardization and performance in high-volume manufacturing
