Overview
In this role you will manage a caseload of Warwickshire youth, overseeing the assessment and review process and serving as the primary contact. You will partner with families, children, young people, schools, and professionals across education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector to secure positive outcomes. You’ll navigate statutory timescales in a fast-paced setting, coordinating with multiple agencies to balance time and resources. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of young people and oversee EHC assessment and review processes
- Act as point of contact throughout entire case lifecycle
- Promote partnership working with families, young people, schools, and professionals from education, health, social care and the voluntary sector
Key requirements
- Experienced EHC Plan Coordinator or SEND experience within a local authority or educational setting
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation
- Ability to work to statutory timescales
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with other agencies to achieve outcomes within time and financial constraints
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to manage conflicting priorities while prioritising communication and collaboration
