Overview

In this role you will drive adoption of Carwow’s buying platform by onboarding independent motor traders and dealer groups through consultative selling and tailored demos. It’s phone-first with occasional field work to close key deals, and you’ll work with Account Management to sustain growth. You’ll secure new partners, accelerate their bidding and buying on the platform, and expand revenue via upsell opportunities. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure smooth onboarding and reactivation of lapsed dealers. This is a high-volume, growth-focused role at a scale-up with a strong product-market fit.

Responsibilities

  • Sign up new dealers and drive adoption on the Sell My Car platform (bidding and buying)
  • Generate new business through cold outreach and inbound leads, primarily by phone, with occasional field visits
  • Identify and develop opportunities to upsell services (e.g., transport, wallet, stock funding)
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential partners
  • Collaborate with Account Management for smooth handover and reactivation of inactive dealers
  • Deliver engaging pitches to stakeholders at multiple levels (GM, Group Buyers, Business Owners, Sole Traders)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage data effectively

Key requirements

  • Experience in a similar automotive retail sales/BD role (essential)
  • Driven, adaptable mindset in a fast-growing environment
  • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting and partnership development
  • Proven business development, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Comfort working with data to spot opportunities and support growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across audiences
