Overview

As Operations Manager for Commercial Property Adjusting in London & South East, you lead a high-performing team of commercial loss adjusters, ensuring top-tier service, technical quality, and strong client outcomes. You’ll develop your people, manage financial targets, and uphold Sedgwick’s compliance standards, including the Consumer Duty Act. You’ll collaborate with insurer clients, brokers, and internal partners to drive professional, fair, and efficient claims handling. This role blends leadership with strategic impact in a hybrid-working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a technical team across London & South East
  • Drive performance, manage financial targets, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee claims handling with focus on service delivery and quality
  • Build trusted relationships with insurer clients, brokers, and internal partners
  • Maintain accurate electronic files and leverage IT tools for claims management
  • Promote fair outcomes and professional standards in all client interactions
  • Coach and conduct performance discussions to support development

Key requirements

  • Experience handling commercial property insurance claims
