BIM Coordinator

Overview

In this role you drive BIM coordination across design and construction, ensuring integrated data and model quality. You work within the design team to set up guidelines, manage datasets, and coordinate across disciplines. You mentor project teams on BIM procedures and embedding data throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers the chance to shape BIM processes and support high-impact infrastructure projects at a global firm. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and data continuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical BIM support and mentoring to project teams
• Manage project content, source additional content as needed
• Communicate changes in procedures and standards to project teams
• Coordinate BIM datasets/workflows and project setup
• Support cross-team collaboration and provide coordination across disciplines
• Set up linked models and coordinate across disciplines
• Daily model administration, maintenance and assurance
• Contribute to BIM Execution Plans, TIDPs/MIDPs, MPDT, Responsibility Matrices, and training guides
• Implement standards and best practices from design through construction and handover
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Key requirements

• Ability to work and coordinate with key stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communication for internal and external documentation
• Hands-on experience in the construction industry
• Proficiency with Bentley and Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks/Solibri, CAD) and CDE solutions (ACC, Aconex)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI an advantage
