Responsibilities

• Support or lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept to completion
• Deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure
• Ensure technical delivery meets Irish regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success
• Contribute to mentoring and team development (for senior roles)
• Demonstrate exemplary health, safety, and wellbeing practices in line with BeyondZero
• Build and strengthen relationships with water sector clients

Key requirements

• Experience in civil engineering with knowledge of detailed design and/or design‑and‑build for water and wastewater assets
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Irish water sector regulations and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Leadership experience for senior roles
• Professional membership (Engineers Ireland, ICE, or CIWEM) desirable but not essential
